Well that was a bitter disappointment but I knew BIG GIRLS DON'T CRY so for the next 47 years I was no SONGBIRD .Instead ,foolishly, I perfected my impersonation of a goldfish - great lip movements .......no sound !
Then fast forward to Christmas 2013, in a friend’s HOME a chance conversation about singing I confessed " I STILL HAVENT FOUND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR" Read more...

Newcomers can attend a ‘try out’ class to see if it’s for them before they commit to signing up for the term.

During this process, you will be prompted to create a User Name (usually an email address) and a password of your choosing. This User Name and password is a requirement from September 2016 to access information in the Class Members section.
You can register for one term at a time or for all three terms. There are a number of payment options available – please refer to the payment page
How much does it
CÓRus offers fantastic value for money. Our classes run for an hour and a half and cost €110 for a ten week term – with three terms each year running from Sept – May. (Córus operates a sliding scale rate for new class members joining later in a term).
On receipt of a class fee, you will receive materials which include a CD and lyrics. Each class covers the same curriculum and you may attend one or more classes each week.
CÓRus also runs up to three joint rehearsals a year which are free to class members and offers additional vocal workshops at a subsidised rate.
CÓRus classes are also invited to participate at various events during the year which are fun and exciting to take part in.
Class members are invited but not obliged to take part in any activity outside of class.
What a busy week it has been for our members!
On November 24th, we entertained the crowds outside the Gaiety in aid of the The Alzheimer’s Association of Ireland! Well done to Kevin and all those from Cabinteely\Greystones\Rathfarnham who were superb by all accounts.
On November 25th, Fiona and her Sandymount and Monkstown gang gave it socks at the Booterstown Autumn Concert getting everyone into the festive season mood.
What a wonderful night at the CÓRus Christmas party on Saturday night. Apparently, all the local DJ’s, want the CÓRus gig as we have a reputation for taking over that dance floor as soon as the music starts! There were alot of sore feet on Sunday morning.
Online payments – Please note that CÓRus is moving to a fully online payment system. We have updated the e-commerce side of our website over the summer. Class members paying online will have to provide an email address and a password to set up an account on the website. You will receive a confirmation email with an order number – this must be written on the box provided on the payment envelope you will receive in class.
Those paying at class will be issued with a password via email that they can then change to one of their choice. This password will then be used to access the password protected “class members only” section containing the music and movement downloads as well as other information.
Any class members wishing to avail of the movement and music downloads will need an email address to access these from September 2016.
New CÓRus classes open regularly.
